More About Kavya (she/her):
it is a privilege to train in family medicine and public health & preventive medicine alongside my exceptional colleagues here in Tkaranto. I'm often thinking about the intersection of equity-centered primary care medicine, community- and data-driven advocacy, and liberatory public health research. My goal is to serve the cause of health justice as best I can, both for the patient in front of me, and for all populations. Outside of medicine, I love watching the animals frolic at Riverdale Farm, catching an exhibit at the AGO, biking over potholes on Bloor, wandering Toronto's many street festivals, and reminiscing about hiking the Rockies in my home province of Alberta.
